While having conversation with one of my student, I purposely mentioned that I'm a person who doesn't have a religion. She was surprised and asked me "what kind of human being are you?". I'm not surprised to see her reaction, as I knew a lot of people are ignorant about atheism. They were born with religion in their mouth, specially in this country where Jesus H. Christ is ubiquitous, you can see him on the road, in the park, in the mall, in school, in every house. Who am I to blame these gullible people that believe whatever Velarde, Eddie Villanueva or their local parish priest told them? they are just product of this damaged theocratic nation.

Watch subject. Bush and the Republicans were not protecting us on 9-11, and we aren't a lot safer now. We may be more afraid due to george bush, but are we safer? Being fearful does not necessarily make one safer. Fear can cause people to hide and cower. What do you think? Why has bush turned our country from a country of hope and prosperity to a country of belligerence and fear.
What happened to us, people? When did we become such lemmings?
The more people that the government puts in jails, the safer we are told to think we are. The real terrorists are wherever they are, but they aren't living in a country with bars on the windows. We are.

When I was in high school, my Values Education teacher found out that I was an atheist. He told me I was crazy. It resulted into a debated but it ended with me as the victor. I wasn't a good debater, his arguments were just plain weak.

Wala lang, just wanted to share. ^^

I'm starting to jump on the band wagon of "labeling" myself an anti-theist. I've heard Hitchen's and other's use this language...and it just seems less aggressive than atheist. I mean really it isn't but for some reason people are more likely to accept it.

We should be painstaking and perceptive in all the information we give. We should be extraordinarily painstaking in giving advice that we would not dream up of following ourselves. Most of all, we ought to escape giving counsel which we don't tag along when it damages those who woo assume us at our word.

To be a noble lenient being is to be enduring a make of openness to the mankind, an ability to guardianship unsure things beyond your own manage, that can take you to be shattered in uncommonly exceptional circumstances as which you were not to blame. That says something very weighty thither the prerequisite of the ethical passion: that it is based on a trustworthiness in the fitful and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a shop than like a prize, something fairly feeble, but whose extremely item beauty is inseparable from that fragility.
